It's not even nearly Odejayi. Not even nearly. Tommy Wright was MUCH worse.

You can name the players we've had that have been worse

    Don Goodman
    Deon Burton
    Dave Regis
    Tommy Wright
    etc etc etc

    LEAVE KAYODE ALONE FFS! (shakrhead)

Sheron has scored More in 1 season than Oddjob will get in his career

In fact Sheron would have kept up up if he hadnt been dropped for that Richard Naylor

come to mention in Richard Naylor needs to go on the list! He was that bad he now plays cente half

come to mention it, Odajeyi should play Centre Half

    Ah, but

how many balls has Kayode lost over the fence at the back of Queens Ground? Mike Sheron was one of the main reasons we went into Administration. WORST. STRIKER. E - VERRRRRRRRR.

There is ONE significant difference between those names you have put up and KO

...the fact is, whether you like it or not, Kayode Odejayi has shown us glimpses of ability - AND - none of the players whose names are being tossed around in this thread (Deon Burton, Tommy Wright, Dave Regis, Willy Ferry etc etc) could have done what Odejayi did against Chelsea. Odejayi is a battering ram of a centre forward, he's an athlete, and on his day he completely unsettles the opposition defence because they can't cope with him, and can't deal with him physically, he creates disorder and havoc. He might be clumsy at times, his finishing might be poor at this level - but he has something to offer. It gives us options and there is nothing wrong with having options.

Some people on here would have us playing with a squad of eleven players because they'd get rid of the ones they don't love unconditionally. K.O. has his ups and his downs - but he gives us options.

Now fair enough - I'd start Boggy and I'd use K.O. as the impact sub BUT that's a long long way from saying that Odejayi is the worst striker we've ever had at the club (at this or any other level). The people who are throwing that garbage opinion around know for a FACT that it's just that - garbage. So why post it on the internet? Boredom??

    Get behind the lad.

Oh dont get S.M. started on Sheron. I feel like im on a phycologists bed, running over the early 00's. "I used to be called R.B. on the BBS you know Doctor". I think he had potential, thats why he went onto Blackpool and Macclesfield when he left us. Shows what I know.

    RE: Mike Sheron

Just goes to show we prefer a toiler or perceived toiler over someone with a bit of talent at Oakwell

Probably explains why Alex Neil wasn't as unpopular as he should have been

    A bit of talent?

I'd rather have an enema than an enigma.

Whatever floats your boat or sails your canal

Mike Sheron was a far more talented footballer than KO will ever be. End of.
