If that's true they should have given people the chance first to tell them it's rubbish so they can save on the postage of posting them out. I will be putting my vouchers straight in the bin if that's right.

If that’s true then they are doing a seriously good job at pi55ing the fans off this season. No other word to describe the owners this season other than a absolute JOKE.

    Why didn't they just say "£50 off a £100 voucher for next season's mega-offers"
    ?

This voucher thing has been going on so long, I've genuinely forgot why folk were getting them.

    What was reason?

It was advertised as something you would get with a reserved + membership......

    https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2021/march/2122-membership-information/

Most of the vouchers are no good for vegans, vegetarians, people who eat before/after Oakwell or don't like sub standard food.

Tbh those offers will simply extend the queuing time for the kiosks and end up annoying yet more people! When I signed up I doubted I'd use those vouchers anyway but a fiver off the superstore if there is no minimum spend is better than nothing.

I knew it would be stuff like this. Did people genuinely think they were going to get a £50.00 voucher to spend in the club shop?

By my reckoning that's about £48 worth of vouchers assuming you only pay about £30 for training wear.

I will use the concourse food ones, but probably not any of the others.

I'm with Bing. Not defending in any way, the delay in sorting this out. However I'm not sure what people were expecting. It was never going to be £50 worth of open vouchers, to spend however you wanted. The Club never said they would be, either.

The wording said "Reds Reserved+ members will receive...Barnsley FC related vouchers (value of £50)". In fairness, that is what these vouchers are.

I’d have assumed that the vouchers are useable. These aren’t without spending a lot of money.

I personally think it’s a joke! You also have to spend your own money once again before you can claim anything. Wasn’t the idea of paying extra for reserved plus the whole point?

My son had Reds Reserved Plus last season and received a free shirt. Was that part of the deal this time too? (I don't know because he downgraded to the basic level this time around).

Yes, you got a £48.00 shirt for spending an extra £40.00 which I thought was quite decent. The Green away top is the best thing about this season!
