It could go either way 7 off play-offs 8 off relegation with Hammill out and Long not tied till end of season things could go backwards but a couple of decent signings this week and you never know
We are in no mans land playing under no pressure. I think if we were to get near the playoffs our arse may well fall out, as it did last season. We need to put all our efforts into starting next season with all of the better players that we currently have. Then we will have some continuity and won't have to write off the first 3 or so months next season. Cracking win tonight though.
My reference was with regard to what he said on here. Something that was plainly stupid. He just called me a berk. So there.
Aye I couldn't quite fit the facts into my cyclical argument. It's nearly true though. I do think we are the same consistently inconsistent team we were last season but you get that with young players.
We were under pressure when we started this run - we were rock bottom. I do not believe we will make the play offs. But to moan and groan now (and say it's impossible to get in the top 6 when it's not) and use that as a premise to slag the coach off, especially after another win, is sad.
I think some people are probably just frustrated that such a big chunk of the season has been wasted. Like I said the main lesson is not to do the same next season.
If he can't learn the valuable lessons from the experience so far, that may well be true....we'll see.
