Will you please stop with this common sense nonsense pal. It's not wanted here. Irrational ramblings only please :)

What's ridiculous about it? Are any of the four things I've said incorrect?

    If I may....

    1. He never wanted the club in the first place, but could not stand back and watch it be run into the ground and out of business.
    2. He always stated that it was his aim to establish the club a sound financial footing, not to underwrite the deficit on an annual basis. To make it debt free and self sufficient, which he has done and is an enormous achievement.
    3. Patrick believes Don is the best man available to manage the day to day running of the club. Not being a successful business man, I am in no position to dispute this. But you may look to answer 2 for evidence of Don's administrative skills.
    4. Patrick is involved in a complicated legal trial concerning his business practices. The less he says publicly about BFC, the better. That should be obvious.

Now, I'm no expert by any means. In fact I'm a bit thick. But this is basic stuff, Trotters. :)

Thanks for providing a response Joan, however, if I may:-

    1. He may never have wanted it but he hasn't been trying to get rid of it for the last ten years has he?
    2. He was willing to stump up the cash for Hume ADS. He no longer is. This was always additional to the club running at a break even. He is no longer willing to fund additional signings.
3 Don't doubt that but as owner he should have a more involved role as he did in previous years.
    4. Innocent till proven guilty.

How does the AFC Barnsley farce sit with your claim from point one?

Are we not in debt to Patrick Cryne to the tune of £6m which he wants paying back if we get into the premiership?

    I don't know, I wasn't talking about AFC.

    And....
No we are not. That was a possible condition of sale with a one time, unspecified, potential new owner.

    Again, basic stuff....

Joan of Arc is one of my heroes/heroines. I like being called Joan. If I ever go through with the op, I think that's who I'll be. :)

Refer back to first post, that doesn't challenge anything I stated and I have nothing more to add, really. Supertyke's here though, he'll give you a fight!

Who's money has he put in? We will see who's money if or when he is found guilty.
