Fantastic for derby this....i saw the interview with the derby chairman, who, when asked confirmed it would not impede their ffp regulations.
Mmmmmmm, some clever accounting going on here, if thats the case.
He reckoned that shirt sales etc would put loads of extra revenue into the club etc etc.

I said they have done reasonably well and I think they have to be fair. If Lampard has achieved what his predecessors have then that isn't too bad for a first season as boss. He was 90 minutes away from a promotion so I think that is good enough.

Eddie Howe is a good example of the kind of manager you mention. I agree with you on the whole.

 

Weird though the Derby thing isn’t it. Pretty much every Derby manager for the lsast 5/6 seasons has had similar results and they all got the sack. Not saying that was right but Shows the benefit of having good media connections.

 

Yeah and given he does not actually have any badges and he is going to do them at Derby, suggests it’s definitely a fudge
