I think it's his style. He wants the ball forward quickly, so they can play a high line and squeeze the opposition.
Which is fine but does also mean that the calibre of players wasn't the reason he played as he did last season
I guess the better the player, the less time they need to pick out a team mate, but Val doesn't want players spending too much time on the ball. Especially when facing their own goal. He talked about "vertical" football before he even saw a training session, so I think he's pretty fixed on how he wants to play.
Albion fans saying there's no plan B.. we told em, with Val, what see is what up get. Not for people who like a game of football..
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, results over performances every time for me. Not that we’re even getting performances at the minute. I’d take Val back in a heartbeat but I imagine he’ll probably be managing in the prem next season with West Brom.
I suspect Bournemouth and Fulham will be the automatics. If Ismael gets them promoted, it's going to have to be through the playoffs.
Possibly. Bournemouth really finding their gears this season. I think the 3 teams mentioned will be top 3 but the order of them, I’m not so sure just yet.
