Was with you until you suggested Diaby for man of the match. Idiotic defending when he fouled Watkins. Agree on Halme, thought he was our best player even before his goal

 

Idiotic diving maybe, Diaby is a good player in the making.

 

He is but he’s prone to errors like he made tonight. Obviously Watkins makes a meal of it but it’s clear foul by Diaby that the ref rightly gives the free kick for. Daft to pull his shirt, even dafter to let Watkins goal side of him in the first place.

 

Even dafter to let Williams have a free header from the free kick.
Unfortunately we've got players that are learning on the job so singling them out probably won't help much.

 

Agree. Individual errors happening too often but that’s what we get with kids.

Don’t normally single anyone out but there’s a lot of people trying to make out on here that Diaby was somehow wronged instead of admitting he made a mistake

 

We are drawing our way to victory. In reality if we keep giving cheap goals away we will be in the same position at the end of the season. For most of the season we've looked decent going forward, up to the final pass / shot, but woeful in defence. A team that can't defend won't stay up in this league.

I think someone posted the other week that we had played about as well as we could and i think that applied last night too. Plenty of effort and application inter dispersed with great passing and skill but then of course the horrible mistakes too and lack of quality at this level.
These young footballers will be decent but not now , at this level.
