We all feed somebody except maybe a dozen club's worldwide. The problem with us that we are on record everyone with the of 12 months left is running around with a for sale sign round their neck then some were sold and others made to stay. It just breads resentment as a model it simply doesn't work. The Crynes were unfortunately in desperate position when they sold I fully understand he didn't want to leave his wife and son with responsibility of the whole club but Chein and co were a complete disaster and set the club back years. Not sure where the current board go with the model because it clearly doesn't work does the appointment of a dof mean a change of policy I for one certainly hope so.

The poll that's gone up today suggests it might not be as drastic an impact as many expected.

If they were to do this, which I'm not convinced will happen at all, it would make sense to do so after the deadline has passed, as the club need to know how many supporters are prepared to stick to their guns on this before considering their response.

As it currently stands, they'll have been anticipating a surge of ST sales in the next few days, to whatever extent is achieved, as it's financially logical behaviour to wait until as late as possible to renew. The on-field issues may adversely impact this, but no-one really knows how much.

From the club's perspective, there's no point missing out on the 'last-minute rush' sales by extending the early bird deadline at this stage. It's only after this that they'll genuinely know how many of the implied threats not to renew have actually materialised.
