    No - but the season lasts through to May next year, ie - PLENTY of time for signings ...

    They don't all have to happen pre-season.

    Hendrie, Ward, Hignett, Fjortoft - all purchases during a season rather than before kick off ... I'm sure I could think of others if I could be bothered to.

    Do you think we'd have prised Hendrie from Boro pre-season? - No, it was only because Boro carried on signing foreigners like they'd gone out of fashion that he became available.

    Hignett - It was only because he became unsettled at Aberdeen that he was available.

    Right players at the best available time, not any player at any time just apease those like you that demand without thinking.
