With respect, based on the nature of the comments there is no counter argument needed. I was commenting on the implications of what was said. Simple as that. If you believe what you have written fair enough - all I was doing was trying to show the logic of the position stated. That's all. There is plenty of comment on both sides defending and attacking Corbyn. As I say, I thought your comments were illogical and therefore flawed. 'Stupid' might have been Ott but I stand by the fundamentals of what I stated. Cheers

 

Wouldnt be my first port of call no but when peaceful.protest results in stricter laws / more deaths then I can understand why some would go down that route.

Me too, but if I were campaigning on behalf of an oppressed people and a faction of said people started blowing folk up at the bank, on the beach, in the streets then a line would have been crossed for me.

 

You dont have to vote for what you dont believe in. Last time I voted was Blairs first term. Remember that it was a Labour government who went to war with Iraq.

 

As I said fair point if you're a pacifist. If however you condone violence in certain situations then I would think the S A situation at the time would be one where violence could he condoned as other peaceful methods had been tried.

 

And you think a Tory govt wouldn't have gone to war in the same circumstances?
