    Saturdays game takes some beating.
Last season at Wednesday was ****.
Reading a few years ago under Robins, lost 3 nowt, we had Chris Wood, awful.
Coventry away first season back In championship.
Wembley against Cardiff if that counts.
Doncaster Rovers on that wet cold Tuesday night, got hammered
And again Doncaster Rovers in our promotion season, Jason Price.

Bromsgrove in the FA Cup was a low point for me even though we won.

Losing to Leicester in Premiershit knowing we were doomed.

Losing 7 nowt to West Brom was quite poor.

The whole of the last seasons away games with a couple of exceptions were very disappointing.

West Ham in Premiershit away horrible.

I always dread playing wednesday at Hillsborough, last minute winners are all two common for them against us.

Other than that I used to hate playing Doncaster at Belle Vue as we always got tonked.

****ing Norwich away does it for though I've never seen us get anything down there and they usually get a bucket full. I always remember when we loaned Jamie Cureton off them and he couldn't hit a barn door for the first 5 games, then in his last 3 games he scored 4 and looked **** hot so what happens? Norwich recall him and he scores two against us and we end up losing 4-1! That chuffing goal song they play aswell...

Strange one but I think the most gutted I can remember being at an away game was against Peterborough in Flitcrofts first game as caretaker. Atmosphere was buzzing and it felt like we played them off the park, and somehow still lost. Still not sure how. Remember walking out absolutely resigned to relegation. Was back at work after Christmas break the next day too which didn't help raise my mood.

Wednesday away, the year Di Canio refereed the game and robbed us.

Wednesday away, the year Brunt scored from distance in injury time.

    Wednesday away, Spackman's last stand.

    Wednesday away last season.

Losing is ****. Losing to Wednesday is ****. Losing to Wednesday at their place is ****. Losing to Wednesday at their place and having to hear them singing that ******* hi-ho ******* Wednesday song, is ****. Losing to Wednesday at their place and having to hear them singing that ******* hi-ho ******* Wednesday song in the last basterd minute, is proper proper shitty mcshitty ****.

    Basterds.

Bugger! Meant to reply to BigLil's post about losing to Rhyl and Marine. Still feel a pillock to this day for standing among a handful at Old Trafford on a freezing Tuesday neet a few days before Christmas 1970.

The 'Spackman Out' chant that night was the loudest I've ever heard a reds song.

The 3-1 win at Peterborough in 2002 or 2003. 'Our last-ever game'. I was gutted coming back on the train.

Losing 3-0 at Plymouth three or four days before Anfield. A goal down and a man down after four minutes, and I was 308km away from home.

The Hillsborough game when Chris Brunt scored from four billion miles out in the last minute.

I took a work colleague who was a York fan to that game.

He said he felt bad to be there because it was as though he had intruded on a private grief which had nothing to do with him.

    Stockport under Paul Hart

0-0 after 60 mins, Keith Curle gave away an unnecessary throw, they scored from the move from the throw, and then got 3 more.
We were all down the side and went behind the goal to get out, there were chants of your not fit to wear the shirt, and some folk even threw their shirts on the pitch.
I was then called a sheep shagger by two Stockport fans outside wanting a fight, I didn't oblige.

Pompey away 2011. Lost one nil but I didn't even see their goal as I was being detained at Her Majesties pleasure after being wrongly arrested at half time. Plod let me out about a hour after full time by which time my coach home was long gone. Train to London, tube across London, train to Sheffield where I dropped on about 20 Sheff Utd fans on their way back from Palace, taxi to Barnsley as I missed the last bus then an hours drive home at some unearthly hour and about £150 out of pocket. Needless to say, that will be my one and only trip to Fratton Park!

One of my first ever away games was at Bradford Park Avenue in the mid sixties. If I remember correctly we lost 7 - 2 and I think a certain young lad called Kevin Hector (later went on to play for Derby and I think England ) got 5 for Park Avenue.
Not a good day for a young sprog.
Got me prepared for a lifetime of poor away days tho'

Leicester under Simon Davey was appalling. It was one of his first games as full time manager and it was *****. The atmosphere was *****, the walk back to the car was *****, the game was ***** and overall, the day out was *****.

Plymouth on a Tuesday night, drab, cold, boring 0-0 after the first game was called off with us 4-1 up due to rain

I remember that one. Freezing cold, dire match. I was watching the planes landing at Manchester airport for most of the game.
