Re: Disappointed for everyone having to sell players is a setback for the club Perkins is definitely a decent Championship player, down at Leicester he was the best player on the field, better that day IMO than Drinkwater......whose performance convinced Pearson to part with a million quid
Re: Disappointed for everyone having to sell players is a setback for the club Feel free to enlighten me about the other things you said then, because I honestly can't remember you ever saying anything positive about the current regime at Oakwell. Perkins does run around a lot, but unlike others (e.g. Shuker) he also offers plenty to the team. The number of times you see him showing for a short pass to prevent us lumping it and actually helping us to retain possession is enough to justify his worth.
Re: Disappointed for everyone having to sell players is a setback for the club Errm the post where you went through a list of why you didn't like Hill just to back yourself up before begrudgingly saying through gritted teeth that you now enjoyed the way we were playing but then qualified that by saying 'mostly' ? The one where it physically hurt you to acknowledge how well we were doing at the time ? Look, you don't like Hill, you don't like the way he speaks, it's fine you're allowed to - other people are allowed to take the piss out of you for it, it's just their opinion - you know - opinions, the things that you're so keen to say that what you post on here just are ? Well, other people are allowed them too, even if they differ from yours. Peace out, embrace the Lancastrian tongue, you know you want to.
I really get so hacked off with some fans how the he'll can we compete in this league with such a low gate. Some clubs have been worse than us for years and still manage to pull in the crowds. The problem is this too may man untd fans, Liverpool and other glory teams are supported more than Barnsley. Their is very little loyalty to BFC which is a massive shame. We are punching well above the budget we have and some fans on here need to get a reality check.
Re: Disappointed for everyone having to sell players is a setback for the club Maybe he is saying now what 90% of posters will be saying and worse two years down the line. He were f uckin crap a tell thi, f uckin crap.
Re: Disappointed for everyone having to sell players is a setback for the club I think people try to rationalise what football supporters think at any given time - which is pointless because every single one of us is a fickle f-cker.
Re: Disappointed for everyone having to sell players is a setback for the club But we all know that there is only one good thing that comes from Lancashire. (This post is not for foreigners)
Re: Disappointed for everyone having to sell players is a setback for the club That saying has never been reight (only one). M62 no that goes into that West Yorkshire where all the worlds finest sportsmen come from apparently. Got to be Woodhead cos ont Snake yer ave to come through the pig pens.
Re: Disappointed for everyone having to sell players is a setback for the club West Yorkshire's not really Yorkshire though is it ? More a home for stupid people. A628, 2nd exit at Flouch, sorted. No need for any unpleasantness.
Re: Disappointed for everyone having to sell players is a setback for the club I have no problem with anyone having an opinion, as long as they allow others to have one too. I disagree with a lot of what is put on here by certain posters, but they are then called names and insulted because they dont like Hill or the things he says, me I dont like his accent but I have said many times he is doing OK, I dont think mhe is doing anything that is fantastic, just doing OK. I did not like Robins either, but I dont think he was as bad as made out to be. Last season we played some lovely football first half of the season, then went down the pan. Very much like this season so far.
