I don't think a new goalkeeper will solve the problems that we need solving. I.e. We have to score first to have a chance of winning a game, and we can't hit a barn door.

The system does not relate to a player's performance in any particular match. It is an opinion of the ability of a player at a particular point in time dependent upon your opinion of his current skill levels.

I think helens point on subjectivity is very much true. What you're doing though is trying to apply your subjectivity across a range of subjective measures to try and qualify the subjectivity.

Its worth giving it a go, but it will have limitations in covid as its impossible to even attempt to watch a player all game, and you're limited by angles and potentially replays of key moments.

But its certainly a slightly more robust way of trying to judge a player using your own views. Whether it adds more value or allows you more insight to change a view of a player, I'll be very interested to hear over time.

So like FIFA / Football Manager? Although I've never looked into it, I imagine the science of how each player's attributes are turned into an overall rating out of 100 is available somewhere. It sounds like you're trying to create this but using your own rating system.

At this moment in time I don`t see the need for another keeper, experienced or not.

Me neither - probably the last place we need to worry - Walton looks to be plenty good enough and Collins is fine as cover
Keeper down the bottom of the priority list

Not in the slightest. Overall Jack Walton has performed very well since he came in when the football restarted and to then basically throw him in the bin after a couple of mistakes would be wrong.

We’ve also got a good second keeper in Collins who can challenge for the first team place and keep pushing Jack for that shirt.

We do not need a new keeper.

Definitely not. Unless Walton gets injured, then definitely maybe

How ironic this post comes after Walton’s 1st mistakes since coming into the side playing 10+ games without putting a foot wrong and keeping us in games

Really? Which goals are you referring to, apart from the obvious one this week?
