Both teams knew they were safe It would have taken a ridiculous turn of events for either team to go down. The club put the promotion on when they thought it was going to be a 'decider' but both teams played like they were in pre-season. It was awful to watch I agree, but calm yourself a touch.
Worried About Tomorrow We have a shocking record in big league games and/or against clubs from the Midlands.
RE: Worried About Tomorrow Shocking record? Birmingham didnt seem too pleased year at the Well West Brom this season, Wolves....
Eh ? if Ipswich hadn't scored in the last minute then the following week we would have needed to get a point at WBA if Leeds were to have beaten Derby on the same day. If not we'd have gone down... I didn't feel too safe last year, this year I'm still a bit wary, but it would take the fates to conspire against us for us to go down. (like it did to the Blades in 1994(?) when they went down 20mins from the end of the season due to a Mark Stein goal at Chelsea)
Actually we were only safe when Alan Lee scored for Ipswich against Leeds So actually it was a decider!
