I totally agree that this needs to be published but does anyone know of anyone with the power to do this somewhere? I can contact the local journos on twitter etc... in the hope that they read it and decide to print? Still need more people to sign up to this tho? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
I get a rare Saturday off work. Really rare. As it happens I'm working Sunday instead that weekend, so went straight to the fixtures to see where we were. Leeds - ace....big match....local to me, I'm on it. £37?? Cellino can stick that up his jacksie. I'll listen to Radio Leeds and sit in the garden with a brew. It would be brilliant if absolutely NO tarn fans went - what a headline that would make.....local & national.....but I'd be amazed if it happened.
£37 is just too much for a second division football team. I wont be there I will be up in Wombwell that weekend so had the price been sensible, ie under £30, I would have given it some serious consideration but not at that price. I fully support the idea of making a stand, but unfortunately I doubt it will make much difference What is needed is a cap for away fans prices like the one the Prem introduced. If the most an away fan is charged for Chelsea v Liverpool is £30 how can anyone possibly think £37 for Leeds v Barnsley is a valid price
I've put some feelers out on twitter to try generate some interest. Hopefully we get behind it and show football that we won't be fleeced by greedy clubs Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
I'm in. No way am I paying prices like that for Championship football. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Anyone with official authority to start something and give us ideas on what is the right route to take this? Bit of coverage somewhere or help appreciated? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Too right... I see anything over £25 as too pricey for 90 mins of footy. What happened to the Twenty's plenty campaign? Did that fall upon deaf ears?
Quite simply that £37/£42 is feckin barmy and that Cellino might as well wear a mask and a stripy jumper. But, the Trust aren't backing a boycott. We believe our fans are perfectly able to make their own mind up, and we fully expect many fans to draw the line at £37. But if fans do go that's entirely their right to do so. I'll be going. I don't want to line their pockets but my team is my team and I want to see us win at Elland Road. I'll be crying at when I part with the brass though
Only problem is that boycotting the match means zero noise backing the reds which on a mental note wouldn't make them feel good.
Me and my lad are not going , gunna cost over 60quid just for our tickets, I worked it out I would have spent £1.00 more just buying Leeds tickets, than what I spent going to preston including fuel and something to eat, its a shame cos my lad is 16 and he has got the football bug , and wants to go to every game like I did with his grandad when I was his age, but it also says alot when even a 16 yr old says nah were not paying them prices to go to Leeds
