good post owen ..however we need some answers from the board too! one thing that i have noticed about the club since shepperd came is how distant the club and fans have become...even the damn box office staff are becoming unhelpful but thats another argument...GOOD POST THOUGH

but... as you are not aware of my situation it is at best presumptive of you to comment on my reasons for not attending the match!

as is always the rule for the common man our only way of being heard is via action ie speak with our feet...
I love BFC. but at the moment we are being led on a blind rollercoaster ride with little or no leadership or explanation.
I think you would all agree that if we where kept more informed and had actions and decisions better explained we may be able to understand and back the board.
as it is we all feel drastic action and QUICK is needed, can we wait and see? will we be looking up from League 1 and thinking if only we had questioned in January or even December!!
The explanations from the board have at best been patchy and evasive, I prefer the TRUTH and STRAIGHT

How can you get behind a team when they show no fight, bottle and def no pride in the Red shirt??? I wouldn't mind losing if we showed the fight and commitment, but no chance of that happening!!!! We appear to have got a few players now who are just happy to take the cash.</p>

One thing the fans have done this season is try and get behind the players and club, but why should we when they aren't doing what they are paid to do. 11 players off this board could play better than them. Take Leicester for example,<u>SOME SUPPORTERS</u> paid allot of money to watch that poor showing. They had our support, continued to be vocal. What did the players do at Full Time!!!???!!!! All but 3 of them f**ked off straight towards the tunnell. Same on Saturday, and no doubt will be the same allot of the season forward. They don't give a sh*t about us, so you will find allot of fans won't give a toss about them.</p>

Finally. Oakwell is fast becoming a laughing stock within the local area. The board only speak out when they feel neccesary, too often they keep quiet about things that <u>US PAYING</u> supporters should know. Davey should never have got this job, GS messed up with this one. He may have the potential, but we needed more than that. What was a good position at Christmas (gap over Hull &amp; Leeds) as turned into a chasing game. Barnsley will get very few points from the 51 on offer unless changes are made, and very very quickly.</p>

The only downside for me is that I have a season ticket. The club already have my money so whether I go or not wont make a difference.</p>
