It wasn't the vast majority that booed. and those that ran on the pitch, in the main, were excited youngsters doing what previous generations have done before them for all the time I've watched Barnsley, at least 40 years. They did not embaress me or show the club up in my opinion.

Just excited youngsters. Do know about you but hate stage managed end of season send offs, and stage managed tanoy support. If you want that go watch american football

It`s illegal. You can`t pick and choose laws you will and won`t abide by.

 

Bleedin' hell, its no wonder we only get small crowds at Oakwell when its populated by boring farts like some of these on here. Its a few kids running on the pitch at the last game of the season. Its tradition, allus being done down here. I can remember when I was a young 'un in the mid-late eighties no one got wound up about the last game pitch invasion, but I suppose Oakwell was a proper ground and a better place to watch football, not like the ground now full of plastic, jester hat wearing, boring tw@ts like nowadays.
And as for applauding the players, get real the players don't give a toss about the supporters and can't believe fans are naieve enough to think otherwise!

 

Why is it that most clubs up and down the country don`t have the same going off at the end of every season? Just because it used to happen doesn`t make it right.

It's illegal to use foul and abusive language but everyone does it including the players. It's illegal to drop litter but tjhe stands are full of crap at the end of each game, etc etc. It's just exuberence running on the field at the end of the game, and if its illegal why was no one arrested.

No-one enforces 'the law' after the last home game of the season, unless it happens before the final whistle or trouble arises from it. The kids don't want to just stand there and clap the players like us owd fogies. Don't see why the players can't appear in the Directors Box like they used to, with the more enthusiastic cheering from the pitch and the rest of us applauding from the stands. Caters for everyone. As it stands, we are expecting youngsters not to behave like youngsters and not do the opposite of what they are told. It aint going to happen, so we've got to make the best of it.

Pedantic git. I took an estimation, but on calculating using excel I wreck 85.4% use foul and abusive language. also if it is illegal then we need more police at the game and everyone who went on the pitch arresting and banning. Not one arrerst made so hardly crime of century. Still as the steward and police were sat around doing nothing they could have carted a few hundred off to the station. CCTV footage could be used retrospectively I suppose.

 

It's not the end of the world so what people ran on the pitch. I bet half the people moaning have been on the Oakwell pitch at some point in there life. When we got promtion to the premiership I think the whole ground was on the pitch, oh and players still managed to applaud the fans that day. Get a life and stop moaning for the sake of it.

Time moves on laws change if it keeps happening one of these days we as a club will find ourselves in the **** there were plenty that went on who should have known better .As for being boring tw@ts some of us have actually evolved and actually think of the olda nd infirm who would like to be part of it but can't because of the piloocks that can't behave mind u with the chav mentality is there any wonder ffs
