Some good ideas. I started putting together some scripts for news pages etc last year and then lost interest

If we can get enough interest with people who would like to put together news articles and match reports etc then I think we should get something up and running.

I think audio and video podcasts would be really cool.. Maybe the club would let nominated reporters attend the press conferences?

WHo would like to be involved?

 

If it helps i have plenty of experience using HTML, PHP and MySQL. Can also do some little bits of flash...

Nice template. If you don't mind me asking, did you make it on Photoshop or would I have to get another program?

If you are interested in getting involved making this site better please drop me a PM.l We don't just need technical input - we need people who will write articles, match reports, record podcasts, interview players(?) or to come up with some damn good ideas.

We've set up a working forum to discuss ideas and to get things off the ground. If you want to be involved I will add you to the access list.

I wanted an interview with one of the players for my media assignment but club said they dont do interviews.

id like to help in some way but i done know how to set up a website or owt. could try and put something in though

technically, is the towns crest copyright of the club and can we get sued for using that?

 

Doubt it, plenty of Barnsley companies use it.

i could help on both fronts i think seen as im currently doing a web deisgn course

 

ive just installed a php based news client, so ill show you it in a mo once ive sorted the technicalities out (sorry for the long words!)

so we could use the town logo, which is good... the only problem is for copyright of other images. someone should try emailing the club and trying to get a response out of them, emailing sportbox.tv would also be a good option as they could allow us to use their images. the beeb? football league?
