Every club has these rumblings at some point. We didn't have a chance after sacking Stendel. 17 without a win. Things can change very quickly. To say Wednesday have had it just because they lost six points and sack Monk is daft. They still have a decent squad and will probably finish higher than us anyway.
We had the advantage of a young, enthusiastic team that had that winning culture the season before. Sounds like theres quite a few rotten cores bobbing about the place!!
Well I dont like him at all so he would be a good fit for the fowls. He has a decent record with money to spend, not sure how good he is on a limited budget. Also he doesnt strike me as being the type of manager that would be happy with the owners telling him what to do so hopefully its a match made in hell
According to Nixon.. and Giddings agrees.. they are taking to Pulis and two others one of these two will cost alot
OK, so if they go for the cheapest manager option, that'll mean that they've got loads to spend in the next transfer window. On a serious note, I'm not really bothered who they get, we've just got to concentrate on what we're doing and hope they fall apart
I would have thought that Nigel Pearson would be a shoe-in, given his Wednesday links, but Pulis seems to be in pole position. Pulis is good at doing a Warnock and keeping sides safe, but not a lot more. Pearson would be the obvious choice, which is probably why he won't get it.
Reminds me of our relegation in 2002. If you take out Donovan, Bedeau, Flynn and Gibbs that team massively under achieved. Should have been nowhere near the bottom three.
