granted, had an off day today, tho wasn't alone in that, he did well against Savage at Derby. I'll take your bet. Tenner says in 3 years he's still playing for us at this level or he's moved on but still at least in this league. I have a long memory.
    Cheers.......

Well Atkinson showed great potential when he played those few games under Davey when he first took charge.

    Look where he is now.

What makes you think Butterfield will still be playing this level in 3 years time? I'd love him to be consistently playing at this level, somehow don't see it though.

Only time will tell. Remember his performance against Man City? The lad was outstanding. Think he's had more good performances than bad tho. I think he's a good prospect and certainly better than league 2 as suggested earlier in this thread. Your only as good as your last game so they say, today was definately an off day for the lad.

no, don't think Atkinson ever showed any potential tbh.........not in the same league as Butterfield or Potter, seen him alf a doz times at Kettering last season and he's also improving.

Potter? Gi' or wi' it daft lad. No more than League 2/Conference standard.

Out of position, naive, out of his depth.

He won't make the grade in this league.

    sometimes I just despair.....

to think we used to criticise Davey's motivational capabilities.

The more I read you the more I like you. You have hit the nail on the head. It is a team game after all and slagging off individuals serves little purpose.
