So yet again we may have the situation where ST holders can get potentially up to 4 tickets at a reduced rate and dish them out to their mates who never normally go to a match. Yet regular away followers have to pay a fiver more. Not particularly fussed re the cost as £15 is still cheap. But 1 x ST should mean 1 x ticket. There yer go that'll set cat among pigeons. And what abart me Colchester stub.........................
It will be one match ticket per season ticket booklet and X amount of away stubs most likely. No way will it be more than one ticket per season ticket booklet.
RE: Sold out 6000 at Liverpool without free travel I'm basing it on the fact that it is further than Liverpool, lacking the attraction of a game against one of the big four and London isn't as easy for the car driver. We didn't take anywhere near that amount to the FA cup game at Tottenham in 97/98 either.
RE: Not sure WHU fans will be so impressed West ham will pay £10 to £20 for ST holders and £15 to £25 for general sale.
RE: Not sure WHU fans will be so impressed West Ham will pay same as us for equivalent accomodation http://www.whufc.com/page/TicketNewsDetail/0,,12562~1475124,00.html Big thumbs up to both Barnsley FC and West Ham for their initiative on the ticket pricing for this game Owen
One ticket per season ticket to stop any whinging. Thats how it should be, with categories for away ticket stubs aswell And sorry, and cue the abuse, but this about those who go to most of the away games but dont have a season ticket, why should they have any priority? If they dont go to home games then what exactly are they putting IN to BFC? Nowt. Money to other clubs But, as usual people will find a way to NEED to moan about the club
theres a lot of people who go to all home games that dont have a season ticket as 300 all at once is a lot of money so they pay game by game
Yeah, and these should be taken into account. I was on about those who dont go to Oakwell but go to all away games
Not all Barnsley fans live in or anywhere near Barnsley and they put plenty into the club via merchandise.
Yeah i accept that, but there is also a few that don't go to Oakwell cos they prefer to go to away games for the pi$$ up and buy sweet fa merchandise as they don't wear the stuff. Know what kind i mean?? Let's face it, no matter what BFC do regarding this there will be people that moan about it
The website reads as if they are available to ST holders first. No mention of away stubs needed for ST holders.
if i did that people would send me get well soon card [img=http://img57.imageshack.us/img57/1681/bobdg5.jpg]
3 things Liverpool is a lot nearer than London The Liverpool match was the 5th round of the cup, this is only the third. The further we go in the cup the more people want to go. Liverpool are Liverpool. West Ham are only West Ham. Just that. We may sell out, we may not, but there won't be the mad scramble for tickets with people filling the car park like there was for the Liverpool game.
Hold on a sec... I might be muddled up here but I'm pretty sure that last season when there were price reductions in the cup the minimum amount allowed by the FA to be charged as of 3rd round proper was £15. Does anyone else remember that? Glad its changed if thats the case
Indeed, but i'm hoping that is a Rib Noodles mistake and been wrote wrong. Maybe one of our supporters trust members can comfirm away stubs will come into play.
Doddy. what you are saying is B*ll*cks, people who go to more away games should have as much priority as season ticket holders, some season ticket holders do not go to one away game, but yet, they will make the exception to go to West Ham, just because their a premiership team, I'm not moaning or worrying, because personally, i think that there will be enough for everyone who wants to go.
