no but i'd like to think that the same tax cut will be applied to merchandise actually i've wondered for many years, why do supporters trust members who don't directly benefit the club financially get a discount in the club shop but a season ticket holder who stumps up £300 directly into the clubs coffers gets no such benefit? Now you don't even need to join the official supporters trust to get the discount, just live in penestone and join an independent group and you get a discount that season ticket holders do not. madness
Heard on radio that one of the clubs (poss pikey's) are giving season tickets holders a £5 discount on club merchandise on production of a special match voucher. Good idea me thinks, as repays season ticket holder with reduction in tax and will gain revenue for club by tempting to spend in shop again
Could work I suppose but it begs the question why do some get it already and season ticket holders don't already
