The disappointing thing for me is not that Leeds have got promoted, its the fact that we are going to be 2 divisions apart & I cannot see us playing them for a considerable time & its a fixture that I enjoy & whats more its a fixture that we have generally been competed well in , I shall miss playing Leeds.

I can't bring myself to congratulate them, awful supporters and club
Poor championship this season which Leeds have won without needing to be an exceptional side. WBA not a great side either. The gap to the lower middle of the Premier league from the championship is too great and anybody going up will struggle as us Charlton and Luton have in the championship from league 1.
With Stendels stubbornness to adapt a different style in this league to suit our players, he disregarded players that could have improved and helped stay up and then Struber trying to drag us back in to it with U23s and a new system midway through was never going to work quick enough. Solbaure came in just too late.
We have plenty of players to watch develop next season Walton Williams sisters, Anderson. Halme, Diaby, Wolfe, Palmer, Styles, Simeos, Marsh, Thomas, maybe Brown, Chaplin, Schmidt, Green, Miller and to be honest I am looking forward to it. Not bothered anymore to be watching substandard players on £40K a week bleeding clubs and fans dry.

    Lets be reyt.

When they can have fans back they'll have 40k plus for every game, they're a one city club, they were Champions league semi finalist not long before being relegated. They've missed out on big money since relegation, if they had held their place they would be one of the big 5/6 clubs. Makes me laugh when Wednesday think they are Yorkshire's biggest, they've took so many points off us in recent years I'm glad we wont have to play them anymore.

I think elland road holds less than 40k, they got to the champions league semis by spending.money they didnt have which left them in a mess when they failed to qualify for it the season after. They are biggest club in yorkshire but they will have to spend big I think only Phillips is premiership class. Look at newcastle bigger fan base and club and still not breaking records in the premiership.

Think it might do now, it did average 42k when the stand was built, they averaged over 39k in their last few seasons in the top flight but now it only holds 38k so they've cut the capacity. They are a much bigger club globally than Newcastle, they've never had anything like the Revie era or the european campaigns Leeds have had. Even with money, Newcastle won't attract the players, nobody wants to live in the north east of England. They'll have a couple of seasons stabilising and then they'll be pushing for european places.

Yes, never rated Bamford. Woodrow may be off form at the minute, but he is a way better finisher than him.
