I think this is the key point. I didn’t watch yesterday’s match as I had no interest in a dead rubber & had a few beers instead. What I’ve seen up to now has been very Lee Johnson-esque. Playing a high line whether it suits you or not & struggling to break down well organised defences who end up doing you on the counter attack. However as Kirkham Tyke says, if a top side plays us we seem to be able to create chances & score goals & without seeing yesterdays game I think that’s because they will have come at us & give us space & opportunities to counter attack. Many of them have limitations but DKD, Russell, Phillips & Humphrys all have the ability to hurt sides at this level.
