Re: Just heard Keith Hill's interview from after the game today

I couldn't believe his interview after the Reading game

Has he deliberately set out to antagonise as many fans as possible ?
Clearly he is not happy for the fans, but happy for everyone else including most notably himself !
Instead of drawing a line over what happened last week, he is choosing, by his careful choice of words, to continue a situation of 'us and them',which he was largely responsible for starting in the first place
I am left bemused. I don't think I have ever come across a Manager so arrogant and so full of his own hype. He's definitely on a par with Mourinho .
My wish is for him to keep his mouth shut for a while
I want to know about my beloved BFC not Keith Hill and his war with the fans!
If this carries on then I personally, will find it very depressing.
His words destroy the very 'togetherness' that we all want to be part of at Barnsley FC

Think you are well out of order there and should apologise. Fans expressed their disapproval of 3 dire performances.

As has been pointed out, fans will take defeat. We're used to it. But lack of effort is not acceptable.

    Re: Turncoat fans

Sorry, I'm afraid I can't join the big Jay love-in here. He makes some reasonable points but misses one huge point in my opinion; that is the complete over reaction from some Barnsley fans to Keith Hill's comments. People have taken huge offence to comments, some made in the heat of the moment after matches and others during a very stressful week in charge of the club. Three consecutive home defeats in a short period of time was always going to create a very negative reaction from some fans and perhaps he hasn't handled it that well, but some of the abuse has been way over the top. I heard all his interviews and at no point did I think his comments were directed at me, I'm not that vain...

I feel sorry for all those fans that went to Reading and paid hard earned money which will equate to probably 2 hrs work for Keith, he could at least acknowledge them.

Would a nice pat on the back from Keithy do the trick? Crikey, if you can't enjoy an away win at Reading without the manager giving you a personal thankyou something is really wrong. Grow up.

Spot on. There are too many big babies on here that need to grow up and shut up.
