Congrats to Luton, shows what can be done when club is run and managed the right way. Sky highlighted that Luton are the first English club to go from top flight, to non league back to the top flight. Assume it is true and a brilliant stat/story if so.
Think it can be simpler than this. Winner of the toss decides the end, loser of the toss decides the order
not at the same club but ---- 'Michael Duff is believed to be the only player to have played in each of the top eight tiers of English football in ascending order.'
Could do just thought let the winner of the toss decide which they prefer. But whatever system the current one gives rise to too big of a advantage on occasion
Chuffed for them well done Luton. Thought it was a very poor standard for a final though, neither team looked particularly well equipped for the step up but with the right investment you never know what can be achieved. I just hope they don’t spunk all their money on *****, they need to get that new stadium built at long last and secure the club’s future for years to come.
Absolutely 100% will not do that, £50mn at least will be put in a ringfenced pot for the town and stadium rebuild
