    oh yeah i forgot

wasnt it that cryne would only help us out if his man got the job? fair play to him, it was his money he could do what he wanted with it, but dont blame sean lewis just because a major backer wouldnt help him and would only help his friend.

sorry but talk is cheap, there are people on this board with good ideas but without the finance. When it mattered Cryne put up and put up again when P Riddy fcked up. He has a right to determine who should manage his investment. Our investment is our season ticket money, our time and our emotions but I'm sorry pal, that don't pay the bills.

Would that be based on what he predicts he could be earning as a businessman over the next 200 years - "he works for free you know" or is that actual investment.

I thought the Supporters Society asked if they could do it,

In order to increase their members? and try and get more to join he society/young tykes?
Would be interesting to ask the BFC SS fella that comes on

RE: the club getting shut of the young tykes

The Supporters Trust was formed to financially help the club<ie they payed for some physio equipment and I recall they kitted out some of the young Academy teams,so if they want to help finance the young tykes wheres the problem.

RE: I thought the Supporters Society asked if they could do it,

The Supporters Trust were approached by the club and asked if we would take on the running of the Junior Tykes. It certainly was not a cynical attempt to increase membership, although any increase in membership is obviously welcome.

    Apologies

I didnt mean to infer that it was taken on to increase membership, just that it'd make more members, so therefore more @ meetings.. etc More of a say in the club.

    Good idea me thinks

    RE: Apologies

NO apology was required. At the end of the day I hope that we all want what's best for barnsley FC and also a vibrant Junior Supporters group will be good for the future support of Barnsley

    Cheers

The supporters trust was formed to financially help the club.I recall the trust buying some physio equipment and also kitting out some of the younger academy teams. If by taking over the Young Tykes the Trust can further help the club financially I can't see a problem.
