I was pleasantly surprised by how little I spent. Found a little cake shop down a side street selling 3 beers for a tenner and no queuing! And a special mention for the programme. A fiver for 114 A4 pages with masses of interesting content and hardly any adverts. Great value.

dunno mate, wasn't in after. only went in before the match. took 20 minutes of battling at the bar to get served. didn't bother trying again, so only had a pint then went down to ground.

During game at bottom of block 136 one lad was standing up continuously and a few fans behind were giving him the "siddarn".

One senior steward came up to him and took him for a chat, one minute later the steward and supporter both returned. No further standing from the lad and dealt with very profesionally rather then half a dozen members of the WWE ejecting him from the stadium.

Was a cracking view and atmosphere.
simple and easy to access everything.

The impromptu showers near entrance J were a refreshing change.

Wonderful stadium but awful location. As others have said very courteous and can-do attitude from the staff. Nevertheless can't help but think when the old stadium had outlived its usefulness a new site needed to be found for a national stadium.

There were pop up bars outside that were quicker to get served at

My wife and I had a great weekend. This visit to Wembley was much better than the last time

It was nice not to be spat on by the very friendly Oxford fans like we were by the Cardiff scum or having our women called slags and whores. They were even chatting to us in McDs after the match. They say they will get 6 points off us next season if we don't go up.

We were in block 230 which gave us a much better view of the pitch than the last time. Civilized bunch around us with no foul language to be heard.

We stayed out of London at the Hilton in Watford on Saturday night. Cost us £69 for the room and £7.50 each for a massive breakfast. Breakfast is half price if you book it when you check in. Next door to the Hilton is a Toby Carvery which cost me £21.59 with an AA 20% off voucher which included a main course and a sweat, a pint of Fullers London Pride for £3.30 and unlimited coke for my wife. She had 3. There is also a McDs 500 yards down the road which was handy for a coffee.

The staff at Wembley were excellent. My wife was pre warned about having a bag search, but the steward waved me straight through without any check at all. I must look old.

All in all it was an excellent weekend.

My only complaint would be against the behavior of some of our fans at Toddington Services. The language used by some of them in front of women and children was appalling.

Not only do they keep the top off your drink bottle, the keep the bottle as well. Toilets were too small. If you wanted chips you had to have the burger with them. Apart from that not bad.

Its not my favourite ground - I prefer the Millenium stadium in Cardiff but Awfull is a bit strong
I enjoyed yesterday much more than the FA cup semi for several reasons - Much better seat this time, Surrounded by decent Barnsley fans, much nicer away fans and of course a much better performance from our players.

As others mention the stewards are helpful, the Prices aren't bad at all considering and there is a good atmosphere

Just hoping to repeat the experience on 29th May

It's a shame the ground can't be flat-packed and assembled somewhere else. The facilities are excellent, but it's simply in the wrong location. Yesterday was the quickest we've got from the M1 to the ground and back though. Maybe a Sunday kick-off and 25,000 less fans was the reason for that. The only criticism of the stadium itself is the acoustics. At one point you could see that everyone in the block alongside us were singing, but no sound seemed to be coming out of their mouths.

Edit: Just remembered that the FA Cup Semi was a Sunday.

Has queuing onto the concourse for a piss become acceptable these days?

There were toilets on the other side near the ticket barriers that people seemed too thick to find and never had Qs. Should have turned around bud.

I'm not overly keen on Wembley as it's nearly impossible to generate any sort of atmosphere but the staff really were fantastic.

Didn't mean thick in an offensive way, maybe I got lucky but whenever I went there was no Qs at far side and they were Qing out the door directly opposite! :)
