In theory. That's like assuming Barnsley fans all live the 5 minutes between station and ground. Millwall, the area is technically on the Isle of Dogs, serviced by the DLR, it's where the mainstay of fans live. Funnyfella said less than half hour. I'd give myself 90 minutes, especially on a sunday when services are crap.
The isle of dogs is not a largely populated area, more industrialised. The new Den is situated in the Bermondsey area which is highly populated. Of course not all millwall fans reside here (but it is a highly parochial club).
I'd always give myself 1hr+ to get there from where I live in North London, not as far as Wembley, but less direct, would go via london Bridge on overground.
League two ones much cheaper, can't find league one - guessing somewhere in between Though - the championship and league one prices are the same as last year, and last year's league one were: Cat 5 - £30.00 (£15 concession) Cat 4 - £40.00 (£20 concession) Cat 3 - £52.00 (£26 concession) Cat 2 - £62.00 (£31 concession) Cat 1 - £80.00 (£40 concession)
To be fair, we were staying in Lewisham for the JPT final and it took us just under an hour to Wembley. Having said that, for the FA Cup semi I was far more central and due to a series of ludicrous tube closures it took me 90 minutes. With today's interactive web-based travel guides, an hour should be right. Hmmm, I've suddenly just realised thatstaying with my mate in Lewisham again may not be the greatest idea in the world if it's us against Millwall. Could be a very hairy ride back!
I'm working down there again today but we are talking about a Sunday here. Call it an hour then if that helps
Les Bradd hat trick on a snow covered Oakwell? From 4-1 up to 4-4 in the blink of an eye. 1978. I can still see it now.
We won't need 35,000, we'll struggle to sell 20,000. Millwall as opponents would put some families off The trippers have already had their day out at the JPT The prices are ridiculous compared to the JPT
To be honest if it was just me I'd give it a miss because it's Millwall, getting too old for the aggro, but the kids want to go so we'll go but it'll be straight in and out again nothing like Oxford. Cardiff was bad enough, Millwall will be something else, still hoping for a Bradford miracle. ( all assuming we don't balls it up ocourse)
