This is the price that the life blood, the genuine football fans are having to pay for the game dancing with the devil. Money in the game has destroyed it, tradition and honour have been replaced by greed and an abandonment of values and it's all down to Sky and the Premier League. Now the FA cup, once the greatest cup competition in the world has followed suit and flushed itself down the toilet.

You can blame Sky and the Premier League for loads of things, but the FA Cup semi finals being played at Wembley is not one of them.
They started playing them on Sundays after Hillsborough, they were at neutral venues, back to back, one of the recommendations hoping to prevent people turning up without tickets etc.
They started playing at Wembley in 1991 (a year before the Premier League started) when Arsenal got drawn against Spurs and it was deemed the best neutral ground for those teams, and the Sheffield clubs complained it was unfair. So blame the dee dars!

I was referring more to the schedules for TV than the venue itself. As much as I don't like semi finals being played at Wembley as I think it should be reserved for the final I dont think too many fans actually mind too much compared with the breath-taking contempt of making fans travel for a dinner time kick off on Saturday and a six o'clock kick off on a Sunday.
It would be nice to blame the dee dars though.

No they didnt, the 1st semi final was in 1991 at Wembley but the other one in 91 was played at Villa Park, the semi's in 92 were played at neutral venues, highbury and hillsbrough then in 1993 the Sheffield clubs complained. Please get the facts right EastStander before you make posts like that knocking the fans of other clubs, it is not on. YELLOW CARD

Sky / BBC / TV scheduling in general. Where is the consideration for the genuine fan who is paying to go to the game.
