RE: The most blatant one - Tommy Wright Think it was outside area though, but was a foul & would have been sending off.
If the goalie didn't touch Wright How come Wright was staggering to try to keep his feet? He was just too honest and still trying to get to the ball having been clipped by the keeper. Our penalty - saw the guys arm move out to the ball, didn't see the contact but certainly saw movement of the arm. Their penalty - his arm was down by his side, don't see how you can give a penalty for that. Their 1st goal - from a corner they got when their attacker barged into our defender (I think it was Hassell) knocking him onto the ball which then went out of play. We did same to their defender a few minutes later, their player made far more of it, and we picked up a booking!
RE: The Wright one was outside the box.. Don't think it would have been a red card. Not a clear goalscoring oppertunity. Dean clearly thought there was little or no contact. However, put on a Liverpool shirt with Gerrard on the back and refs will give your honest play the reward it deserves.
RE: If the goalie didn't touch Wright i think wright just lost his footing mate and realised he couldn't reach the ball so went down
"came of there guys chest"..... did you not see the hand in the air as the cross was in flight... it was that, not when it bounced and then hit the other bloke...
