Value Added but not appreciated.... There is no doubt that we developed Werling from being a raw and inexperienced youngster into a cultured attacking wing back who had prospects for a much better future than when he arrived. If his agent thought that he was worth more than we agreed when we took him on loan, then that should be credited to Barnsley fc, because it was our coaching a management which gave him the better prospects. I think his agent has led him up a blind alley and back into oblivion by the looks of it. Now then - was it Wolves (who have just signed Elokobi at left back), or Ipswich (who never made an approach to the agent, but the other way round.) I think that I would have him back, but on the original contract offered. Both he and his agent might think that, if he stayed another year and a half or more he might well have been developed by our excellent coaching and management team into a player who really would have excellent prospects. Bad decision by Mr Agent, I think and Werling being too gullible as well. Come back Dominik on the original terms. It is the best way forwards for you and represents good value both for you and for the club.
RE: Back at Sakaryaspor If he is now out of contract, he can still come outside the transfer window, can't he? Perhaps he just doesn't like the weather here!
I've been studying those photos closely... Is it me or does that computer not have an up to date electrical safety sticker on it?
RE: Value Added but not appreciated.... I wouldn't call someone 25, a youngster. He was alright but nothing special. He blew his chance.
