    RE: Shafted?

Lomg story short - The club agreed a fee and wages with Weling and his turkish club when the loan was first made. When it came towards the end Werling then wanted more money. Eventually the club made him a much improved offer. All looked to be sorted then his agent wanted a big chunk. (I think) that got resolved and then his turkish club moved the goal posts and they wanted more money as well. (Something like that anyway - explained by Don Rowing at a supporters trust meeting). In the end the club said enough was enough. It'd be good to see him back though if he's a free agent next season.

A player with an end product he always put a good cross in, fantastic shot, strong on the ball. He may not be the best at defending but not that bad. The good points out way the bad, I can't remember him smelling.

I bet he feels sick as the proverbial ...

just think - he could have been playing at Wembley. He could have played at Anfield and at home to Chelsea - what a stage to show what you can do. Seems that because of a bit of greed on somebody's part, he is now warming a bench in Turkey. He was badly advised that is for sure. I woulod have him back tomorrow.

What his agent needs to understand is that it was this club - Barnsley FC - which added the value to Dominic Werling. Now he is no longer with us, the value is probably less than it was in December and he has missed the chance of his lifetime to hit the big-time.

There is one hell of a moral in this story. But - I say - come back Dominic - all is forgiven. The alternative might be Mansfield.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Ran a lot and could kick a ball really, really hard. Sadly, couldn't pass, defend or tackle, which are pretty crucial elements for a left back.

True, he crossed a ball really, really hard as well. Unfortunately nobody in their right mind would have tried to stick their head on it. That's if we'd ever had anyone in the box to try anyway.
