I’ve not done the sums*, but I’d bet that a small / mid sized football club wouldn’t make a profit if asset stripped. The whole is almost certainly worth more than the sum of its parts. *based on the outcome of clubs that have gone into receivership and only able to pay out pennies in the £. Notwithstanding the current owners of the ground have no inclination to improve it drastically and the West Stand issue needs attending to in the fairly near future, whatever league we’re in. So; like it or not, the ground will be bought back by the club at some point.
The flash interview is the one that happens straight after the whistle, player usually still in his kit. Generally the match winner, MOTM etc. Other interviews done when everyone's had 10-15 mins to calm down....
Is that right about the East & West capacities?? Not doubting your figures, but to look at, you'd think East was wayyy more than East. Some weird optical illusion going on there. The Tardis Stand.
Ahh, so the place where the interviewer asks mind numbingly bland questions like "how did you feel when that goal went in?" and get's mind numbing answers like "yeah great but the most important thing is the team and the three points". I can see why we'd have to spend good money so the Sky can blitz us with crap like that. Sorry I'm having a Victor Meldrew half hour.
Yes it's because the east has the executive boxes adding extra heigh compared to the west also because the west upper tier is in darkness under the lower roof meaning you don't really notice the height/slash depth of the upper tier and the pitched roof means you are looking up over the front edge which again makes it look lower. The east lower only has 3 rows more than the west lower and the upper 6 extra rows with the east having 36 in total and the west 27. For comparison the ponty has 35 including the wheelchair spaces at the front and the north has 44 rows
I'll reitterate those mosaics at the club are nothing to do with me. I can see why folk put 2 and 2 together but i had nowt to do with them. Apart from admiring them.
