Not a migraine as such but I boycott any Green King beer because even 1 pint gives me a bad head the next day.
I regularly goto the ones in Wakey, Cass, and Ponty. And today/Tuesday is their steak meal deal day and I can't knock their prices for a decent dinner and a few pints. Although some people have suggested its horse meat, because its so cheap lol. And if your into them they often have a big selection of ales on draught.
It's really sad what happened to Greene King beers, when I lived in Cambridge (1978 to 83) Greene King was about all you could get - apart from the odd Adnams (excellent) or Tolly Cobbold (awful). But Greene King IPA was only really available in East Anglia and was an excellent pint and I had some serious sessions on it. Now of course it's all over the country and isn't a proper cask conditioned beer any more.

Not just about a different view - he used company money (acc to shareholders) to purchase Brexit beermats (reportedly £10,000) to push his personal agenda. He treated his staff appallingly. It’s about principles, not just differences of opinion. If he owned every pub in this country, I wouldn’t go to pubs anymore.

If a massive company are losing money in so many affluent areas, what a mess the vast majority of pubs across the country will be in, trying to make a profit in less well off areas.
