    That applies to York where you can shoot a Scotsman!

    And it is still in the statutes, although I somehow doubt you'd get away with it!

    Ridiculous ruling - if all-seater stadiums is about safety then there should be no such exceptions. Why should a club be allowed promotion to the Premier with standing areas? Could be argued that they've been able to put the money into the team rather than the stadium as other clubs had to do - they then get the Premier money and can use that for the Stadium! Same happened with Sunderland - because they were building a new stadium they were allowed an extension of time, yet in a similar sized stadium to us, they were virtually full whilst we were getting about 7,000, we tried for a time extension as we were rebuilding our stadium and got turned down! Made a complete mockery of the argument that it was about crowd safety!

    IF colchester go up they are ground sharing with Ipswich till their neew ground is built.
