We happen to be pretty bloody amazing at cycling. Surely this cant happen with our 'high' standard of living? No, its because weve got a good system for cycling and great facilities. And i'd say cycling is a sport in which you have got to be fairly driven. Its a fact. yes fact, (and this time it is one) that countries with a higher standard of living tend to do better at sports of all kinds. The system for tennis is all wrong, its not because we dont have empty swimming pools to play in.
