    Who, Moore?

If so, then that's what I mean.

Both Souza and Moore and guilty of letting attackers get behind them. That's where we need someone with a bit of pace (or alternatively a sweeper) to cover for them.

I'm not attempting to argue, I'm just voicing my opinion.

With Moore and Souza as a partnership - we will ship a fair chunk of goals. We need some pace at the back.

    No, I know...

However, that's the point I'm trying to make - both Souza and Moore are immobile.

Obviously, you rate Souza higher than Moore; that's fine.

However, I believe we should be going out and spending a few million on a class centre back, otherwise we will struggle. It doesn't matter how many we score if we are shipping goals left, right and centre.

    RE: Who, Moore?

Moore did seem to come a long way out to win the ball on Tuesday, lets hope if they are to play together they get an understanding between them.

I've not seen them as a pair yet, but I can imagine where you are coming from. One of the centre backs should be agile and mobile, and both should be covering each other.

    Exactly,

They got found wanting time and time again on Tuesday; and Kozluk did little to help.

At least when Nyatanga and Souza/Reid were a partnership, we had someone with a bit of pace to get back and cover.

If you notice, on corners - El Haimour or Campbell-Ryce drops back to the half way line to cover, because they are the only pace we have in the side at the moment.

    RE: Exactly,

Thing is how many teams in our league have defenders who win everything and are fast? Nyatanga and Reid had a bit of pace to recover but often got beat to the ball. In our league 9 times out of 10 a defender will have to head the ball, its just the other time that we get caught out.
