Art, guitars & looking after old dogs. Sorry, that’s actually my job. I don’t really have any hobbies. Does bullshitting & taking the piss count.?
We tend to do the cottage breaks out of season to limit the crowds, for obvious reasons, so it might be a bit nippy for her. We have tended to drop on in wales, no idea how the grass gets so green as we've hardly seen a drop in 4 visits!
More stars in the universe than grains of sand on earth, apparently. Get your head around that, cos I can’t..
Its made me think, no real hobbies. Im busy though work long hours, kids football training and sunday matches, walking my dog and sleep. Maybe watch a drama series for an hour a day with her who lives in the same house, i think shes called wife or something. Its not good really im very envious of some of these great hobbies.
Joiners arms nice Sunday dinners but a bit stuck up. Ship inn, on the beach, more down to earth. As you say nice beach, but they all seem nice up there.
I dance Argentine Tango and I also DJ at Milongas (social Tango events) in Scotland Attending live performances (e.g. Concerts, Theater, Ballet) Movement Exercise and Functional Training An occasional Hill Walker and periodically 'bag' Munros (currently stuck around the 50 mark)
Reading - I have to not think about all the books I'll never read as it gets me down. It's what I spend most of my non-working, waking hours doing. Volunteering for Guide Dogs. Learning stuff. Dancing.
I've taken up ultra-marathon trail running in the last few years. I like to zone out for hours on end and forget about everything. Last weekend I ran for 14 hours straight and 85 miles. It should have been 100 but alas I developed a back injury which I put down to not enough core training, but I aim to conquer the distance next year.
