What criteria do you think Davey should have fulfilled for people to have been happy with our start?

RE: That does not answer the question.

I'll answer it. It's probably because people usually jump on the slightest thing he does or doesn't do. Not that I'm suggesting this is the slightest thing. A person loses credibility when they do that. Some are 100% against him no matter what.

If we'd played well and still only got one point reaction may have been more sympathetic towards Davey.
As it is I've only seen one game, Coventry, and the performance was a disgrace so for me it's not just the bad results, it's how bad a side we look. We really remind me of the Spackman/Parkin relegation days at the moment.

An improvement on 32% win ratio? Rather than a drop in that raitio?

not asking for much is it? Try not to be the worse manager in 12 years - not too much to ask?

An improvement on 32% win ratio? Tallest Dwarf in the Circus too much to ask?

not asking for much is it? Try not to be the worse manager in 12 years - not too much to ask? Y'know, tallest Dwarf in the Circus type thing, its not as though the competition since '97 has been that great is it?

    Ok good answer

Do you think that in the last 3 seasons we have progressed?
    If so by how much?

It depends how you measure it. If you believe it's getting harder to compete financially with our peers, then retaining our status year by year can be seen as progression.

For me 1 point isn't the problem...

its the performances, the players with exception to hume last night just dont look interested.

its a change of manager we need to freshen things up

So disinterested players and you want the manager changing - i do agree but in any other line of work it wouldnt be looked at in the same way! ;)

I think the set up at the club is flawed

There is no-one there that actually has the know-how of being involved in running a Football Club. There are people that know about business but a football club is a totally different scenario.
PC seems to want to stay away from the actual running of BFC, but has not brought anyone with any real experience to do it for him. Take the on going transfers, they have been dragging on for weeks, same last year with Colace etc and year before with Muller, is this because we are doing things wrong or do the Football League and the FA`sd friom around the world actually have something against BFC? I suspect its the club that are at fault, but they have not learned anything in the last 3 years.
Cryne said that the standard of applicants was very poor last time, I think he said tha it was because the club looked bad for sacking a manager that had just got promotion, in my opinion ,I maybe wrong here, that is why he has stuck with Davey so long, he got a shock when he realized how he was being percieved and now, he is goin to far the other way. Loyalty is all well and good, but to stay loyal to the wrong person is just plain footballing suicide.

I dont think that the team has progressed enough, but the club is on a better , more solid platform , moneywise.

    Sorry its so long.

I agree about the inexperienced board which is why a higher profile manager is unlikely to entertain us. It will get around the game if we are dealing with things amateurishly.
