Thought he struggled yesterday when he came on, wasn't really up with the game, got caught offside, and missed a gilt edged chance when Davies put a sharp chance his way on the edge of the six yard box - the fact he failed to even make contact was disappointing. But at the end it was clear no one was more disappointed than Rose himself, head in hands you could tell he was thinking back to that chance. Hopefully it will come, aqt his current state of development would be better bringing him on when we're 5 nil up, not when we're chasing a vital goal to win the game.
Heard Flitcroft bollock him on Saturday for jogging rather than sprinting. If Rose had the endeavour of Dagnall he'd be playing for England.
Not sure what sort of player he's supposed to be. In the few appearances I have seen, he didn't look blisteringly quick - that's not a criticism (just an observation).
He likes to get in behind the defence and one on one with the Goalkeeper. He scores goal after goal for u21/u18. Can also get in around 6 yard box and put it away. Saturday didn't suit him because they defended so deep he couldn't get on shoulder for the ball in behind.
