Long was brilliant on loan (arguably turned our season around), but he isn't experienced at championship level, and hasn't played all that many games for someone his age. Despite that, at the right price, I'd like to see him back.

I don't know about anyone else but I'll need beer, drugs and ******* within an inch of my life. Not necessarily in that order.

Hope you and your Dad are feeling much better and will be back at Oakwell next Saturday.
By the way, when barnsley66 & I went to see Hecky at the Lamproom a few weeks ago, he said he was disappointed with Moncur wanting to go elsewhere for first team action rather than stay and fight for his place here. Especially when the new season was only a few weeks old. Hecky told Moncur and his Dad that if he did his work on the training ground, then he'd be considered for the first team. At that moment in time, Hourihane & Scowen were producing the goods on the pitch and in training, so didn't deserve to be dropped. Moncur would have to be patient.

    Ah. Understandable now.

My dad is ok now. Me. 50/50. Not 100% with the neck and trapped nerve it's still twitching a bit. Pain gone but still feel it. But now full on man flu lol.

We will be back now but I'm just glad we didn't chance the cold and the forest match. That would have made our backs and necks 10 times worse. Least we stayed warm having a beer :)

Flipping heck! You have my deepest sympathies, old mate! It's supposed to be getting milder as the week progresses, so hopefully you'll be okay next Saturday and not to have to worry about being cold.

After reading that I might well reconsider my request for a bit of snow

Looks like Exile's already been on the beer and drugs if his assessment of Isgrove is "ineffective".

6 to 8 journeymen on inflated wages would suit me. I only say this so that the moaning ****s behind me in the ponte would at least have something tangible to bleat about instead of griping from the first misplaced pass onwards.

A ball playing centre half to compliment Roberts.

    A winger Airyibi from chezzie.

A forward to replace Armstrong if he goes but more of a target nan

An assessment of Aidy White's fitnes and Yiadom's availability may mean a new full back.

    Morsy and Isgrove.
