Re: Would a European Super League have the same effect? Good point - only thing I'd like to see is a declaration that any clubs joining a Euro league would have to start back at the bottom of the league pyramid if/when the Euro league ended/folded.
Re: I want to be entertained . . . When was the last time you were entertained by one of our games but we lost? I remember under Paul Hart the games were exciting, but mainly because we tried to outscore them - I didn't hear to many people claiming to be happy about it though. As I'm playing devils advocate, could you eloborate on what you would class as entertainment?
I understood a packed oakwell was an aspiration rather than a statement of 96/97 fact I yearn for the Oakwell of 79 to 82
Re: I want to be entertained . . . Are you after what I personally class as entertaining? Or are you after some sort of dictionary definition? Am I happier when we win? Yes. But I never used to question the entertainment when we lost. The team, manager and so on yes, but not the entertainment. Maybe its the financial blow it deals when I go now, or maybe I'm just getting older, I don't know. But for some reason at the minute I feel different about Barnsley FC as an entertainment. I still support them and will do till the day I die . . . . BUT for me if I take the cost and the enjoyment of going to watch Barnsley compared to other things I find entertaining, Barnsley FC is losing.
To finish top 6 And do a tidy blonde up the Harris on the centre spot while Time for heroes by The Libertines plays overs the PA. Is that too much to ask?
Is the following too much to ask? Horn Joyce Evans McCarthy Chambers McHale Glavin Banks Barrowclough Aylott Parker is all i want and maybe a bit of Watson Eaden De Zeeuw Appleby Davis Marcelle Redfearn Sheridan Thompson Wilkinson Hendrie and i would be very happy.
