Personally.... I think a pretty quiet summer would be nice for a change.

The huge volumes of players we've had coming in and out can't be good for getting a side settled and understanding each others roles.

Although results and performances have been indifferent, I actually think we've got a very decent core to have a proper crack at the division next year. We'll undoubtedly get rid of, or be able to renegotiate on better terms, those out of contract and it would be nice to be financially viable, which you'd think wouldnt be that difficult from this point on.

Interesting to hear Johnson saying that last year we'd left business too late and felt we'd paid over the odds. My worry with having an ex agent as our negotiator, is a keenness to do the deal, rather than be content to walk away and play more hard ball, but thats just my perception and hasnt any basis, just opinion.

Deadwood out, opportunities for Holgate, Smith, Bree and perhaps Abbott. More development for Winnall, Hourihane, Davies, Berry and Scowen and add a couple of quality players rather than the vast volumes we've signed in the last 2 years in particular.

Most importantly though, we'll have decent numbers staying at the cub this summer so we can have a proper pre season and actually try and get a system together from the outset and the team bonded rather than last years shambles.
