I'm not sure respect has to be earned If I met a stranger I wouldn't treat him/her like **** because they hadn't earned my respect. I would treat them with respect as a matter of course.
I quite like that principle Just be a total **** to everyone until they are nice to you because "respect has to be earned".
Not really To my knowledge they've only ever rescinded 3 of our cards - and two of those have been for Darren Purse! I do think that the last against QPR was correctly overturned but his previous one was debatable to say the least. Don't get me started on the FAW though, I'd join up with the FA tomorrow if it were down to me - and so would many, many other of our fans. Not one link whatsoever to professional football amongst the 94 (yes 94!) members of the FAW committees - but they've all done sterling work for various boys clubs, charities or whatever - and to my reckoning only one or two of them under 75 years of age. Seriously.
Agree with you there ...but my comments regarding earning respect were relating to on the football field. Common courtesy is a given as far as I'm concerned.
Just being human is enough to deserve your respect though innit? You start out with respect for people, but sometimes they do things to make you lose that respect.
