You are joking aren't you? Scott McDonald is probably on more than our entire starting XI. Not to mention £3.5m Marvin Emnes

Hill's more of a geezer than Jewell will ever be, so he has that on him.

I've laid off Hill and the team this week, as I feel once I've said my piece it's time to let them get on with the next game. I'll never lay off Rowing though - Rowing out.

How has he failed in his remit exactly? Has the season suddenly ended and I didn't know about it? You didn't say his remit was to keep us out of the bottom three all season. I can't say he will keep us up but by the same principle noone can say we will get relegated. Cue someone saying Hill is taking us down FACT etc

How anyone can cite Ipswich as an example of why we should sack a manager is beyond me. Everytime they've sacked a manager in the last 5 years they've got progressively worse. they've had an upturn in results since appointing McCarthy, but its way too early to objectively assess whether this will benefit them in the long run. And if it does then it will be the only time it has worked since sacking Magilton

With the budget Hill has, I regard staying up as an achievement each season. Simple.

However, with the budget Hill has, I would expect to him to win at least one game during the course of a quarter of the entire season. I mean **** me, even Peterboro managed to go to Cardiff and win recently and we can't even grab a goal at home to a gash Wednesday team.

He's failing badly at the moment. That's not to say he won't ultimately succeed in keeping us in the Championship this season, but based purely on the evidence in front on me, I can't see how he will.

If he takes us down in the manner of the last 11 games, then he will have failed miserably.

That's all valid points but despite our shocking run we are only in the relegation places on goal difference, so for the sake of a 93 minute goal at Leicester we wouldn't even be in the relegation places.

I don't have any issues with people criticising the run we are on, but I don't think its fair to state that both Hill and Jewell have failed. Jewell was a million miles away from his remit, Hill is only missing his on goal difference.

    Bang on that.

But this proves that calendar year records mean nothing. If we end up with a run like we had in the first 4/5 months he was in the job from January onwards we'll stop up and everyone will be talking about play offs next year.

It's been an 'orrible year results wise. 2013 is the year of the Red army.
