    Definitely a sporting contest, but still at the mercy of the subjectivity of the judges. Obviously even football suffers from that when it comes to any non-binary decision, but in any case the scoring system is completely objective. Imagine it instead of a penalty shootout, a panel of judges decided the winner? It would be absolute mutiny!
