RE: wasn't it the Futcher, May, Baker period? One after the other, ahem.
And is that bloke a sucker for punishment or what ?

Yep. Works out that on average...... ....he's probably got to deal with around 30 pre-menstrual or menstrual women at any one time. Jeez! Assuming none of them are menopausal, which I would guess brings its own problems..
I remember a group of people in the brewery stand Who reckoned Banks was rubbish - too slow didnt put himself about much etc Used to go on incessantly - think it was because he was a home grown player - used to really annoy me That midfield Banks Glavin McHale and Lester was the best combined outfit I remember seeing
Your memory of that game is very different to mine After playing some great football throughout the unbeaten run we just didn't get going at Huddersfield. We weren't battered or anything but we were hardly all over them. However, what with it being over 25 years ago and all, I wouldn't put my life on that. Over 28,000 there if memory serves.
To be honest... Now you mention it I can't remember it that well either, but I do remember the massive crowd. I may be looking back through the same rose tinted spectacles that people use when they talk about "the good old days". Was a good side though - you don't go on such a long unbeaten run without being a good side.
