RE: 5 man midfield

I like the sound of that . Howard , Shuker and Devaney breaking from midfield to support Hayes would be very difficult for defenders in this division to handle .

The only thing they beat was our overdraft limit, hence...administration!

I still think we bought him thinking he was his brother in some kind of monumental, Ali Dia style gaff.
The man simply didn't know how to play football.
As for Spackers ....'he should be made to wear a bell'.

For the players we have, I think 352 would work best.

Devaney, Burns, McPhail, Howard,

no room for Hassell? I reckon he is best as right side of a back 3-swap Kay for him and I like your thinking-and Dean gordon if fit would be a good sub for Carbon

Could be a good swap mate.

I would have 2 or maybe 3 defenders on the Bench, so it could change to 532 when we go 6 up..[IMG]

What's with all this 3-5-2 stuff. Have you been talking to Glenn Hoddle?
Bit dubious about Howard and Devaney as wing backs n' all.

LW - Devaney
CM - McPhail
CM - Howard
RW - Shuker

reserve - Burns & Kell

Plenty of movement and guile in there. To be honest there will only be a few times when Ritchie has to make a decision due to full availability. Most matches we will have the quartet determined by injury/suspension.
