What made me decide on the EU debate.

    We're the EU's largest export market. It's inaccurate at best to compare Britain with Greenland or Switzerland. As much as people would like you believe otherwise, we do have quite a bit of clout.

    Ah, so we're back to having a go at the poor and homeless then.

    I remember back in the 70's we called them tramps and threw stones at them.

    It's poverty. Most of the worlds problems are about poverty.

    The Swiss thought the EU would come knocking at their door because the trade balance was in the EU favour, it never happened.

    These aren't the "tramps" of the 70s that you threw stones at. These are Romanian gypsies in London.

    Yes, but the UK is not Switzerland. The UK is far more important as a trading partner.

    How much of a lever it is I don't know. ...but Switzerland don't buy the thick end of a million german cars a year.

    I don't see us having any worries dealing with other countries outside the EU...... So how much beef and lamb do we sell to the USA? absolutely none.
    Now try getting a better deal outside the EU. I think not.
